CHICOPEE, Mass. The Southern Vermont womens volleyball team played well but could not rally to victory as they gave the NECC second place Elms College a run for their money in the Conference Tri-Match Saturday.
LEICESTER, Mass. The Southern Vermont College womens volleyball team lost 3-0 (25-19, 25-8, 25-12) to Becker College and 3-0 (25-12, 25-10, 25-11) to Bay Path College in an NECC Tri-Match hosted by the Hawks (Becker) Saturday.
MARCY, N.Y. The Southern Vermont womens volleyball team lost, for the second time this year, to SUNY-IT in non-conference play Wednesday 3-0 (25-8, 25-6, 25-11). Serve errors and ball handling errors played the biggest role in the loss for the Mountaineers.

BENNINGTON, Vt. - The Southern Vermont women's volleyball team playing with only six players could not defeat their NECC rival Newbury, 2-10 overall (1-0 NECC). The Mountaineers come up short 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-17) in what was their most exciting match of the year.

This seemed to prove true for the Southern Vermont College Womens Volleyball team, who played much better against Castleton State College on Thursday night despite still losing 3-0 to the Spartans in a match played at Castleton, Vt.
Bennington, VT- The Southern Vermont College womens volleyball team suffered defeat in their first match of the 2008 season Wednesday, dropping the contest to in-state rival Norwich 3-0. The Cadets won by scores of 25-3, 25-6 and 25-8.
