The Mountaineers earned the double header sweep over the Wildcats by scores of 14-5 and 14-9, Saturday afternoon at Willow Park in Bennington.

    Weston, MA – The Southern Vermont Mountaineers won their first New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) game of the season with an 8-6 win over the Regis Pride on Wednesday evening at Regis Stadium. The win came in the first game of a double header before game two saw the Pride rally for a 9-7 victory.

    BENNINGTON, Vt.- A nine run first inning helped the Southern Vermont College softball team split a double header against Johnson St. Sunday afternoon. The Mountaineers fell in game one 13-6 but came right back and won game two by the score of 12-4 in five innings.

    MYRTLE BEACH, SC- The Southern Vermont College softball team scored twice in the fourth inning and added another run in the fifth to earn its first victory of 2012. The Mountaineers won 3-0 over Penn-St. Harrisburg Wednesday in Myrtle Beach.
