ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Southern Vermont College freshman Zach Rogers (North Bennington, Vt.) was selected to represent the Mountaineers on the 2018 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Men's Volleyball All-sportsmanship Team as announced by the league on Monday.

Rogers played in all 20 of SVC's matches this season while notching 16 kills, 18 assists, 15 digs, 16 total blocks, and four service aces. He was a versatile player for Southern Vermont first-year head coach Pat Robidoux—being moved around to play various positions on the court throughout the year.

"Zach always has a positive attitude and a respectful nature about him," Robidoux said about his freshman. "He competes hard, works hard, and represents SVC Volleyball in the best way possible. I have a great deal of respect for Zach and his contribution to this program, and I know that he will be a great player in this league over the next three seasons."

NECC coaches voted before the start of the playoffs to determine the all-conference teams and major award winners.
