ATHLETE OF THE WEEK FOR PERIOD ENDING 3/10/19
Zach Rogers #20 (Men's Volleyball)
So. / 6-2 / Setter/Middle Blocker
Hometown: North Bennington, Vt.
High School: Arlington Memorial HS
Major: Business Administration
Inside the numbers: Rogers had an outstanding week as he led Southern Vermont in the kills column during each of the Mountaineers’ two matches. He had six against Nichols on Wednesday before racking up a career-high 17 in a Friday win over Dean. Additionally, Rogers’ mark against the Bulldogs was the most that an SVC player has posted in a single contest this year. The sophomore also pitched in with six digs against DC after tallying three against the Bison. Friday was just the second time in his career that Rogers reached double digits for any stat category.
What Coach Robidoux is saying: “Zach had a monster match in our Conference tilt against Dean. He really pushed us through to the win with his aggressive attacking and high-hitting percentage.”
