Women's Soccer Earns NSCAA Gold Ethics Award January 9, 2012
BENNINGTON, Vt.- The 2011 season was a step in the right direction for the Southern Vermont College Women’s soccer program. The program won its most games since 1999 and made its first post-season appearance since 99 as well. Monday afternoon the program was awarded again for its on-field achievement. The Mountaineers were awarded the NSCAA's Gold Team Ethics Award.

BENNINGTON, Vt.- Senior captain Joellen Demers (Essex, Vt.) was named to the All New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) team for her play in 2011. Demers led the Mountaineers to its best season in the past twelve years, including a NECC post-season appearance.
