BENNINGTON, Vt. – The Southern Vermont College women’s soccer team lost to non-conference foe the SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers 4-0 Tuesday night at Everett Field. The Mountaineers stayed in the game with strong defense led by Danielle Celotto and great goalkeeping by Catrina Cecchini who finished with 23 saves.
SVC falls to 0-5 with the loss, while the Fighting Tigers improved to 4-3-1 on the year.
The Mountaineers are back in action on Thursday, September 23, when it travels to New England College for a non-conference game under the lights at 7:00 p.m.
