SVC Women's Soccer Can't Find Answer For Elms
BENNINGTON, Vt. - The Southern Vermont College women's soccer team lost to New England Collegiate Conference foe Elms College 4-0 at Everett Field Tuesday night. Mountaineers keeper Amber Mulhern had 11 saves in the loss.
SVC falls to 0-7 overall and 0-2 in the NECC as the Blazers improve to 3-5-1 overall and 1-1 in the NECC.
Elms got on the board in the 21st minute with an unassisted goal from Krystyna Gagne and then in the 25th minute with an unassisted goal from Stephanie Magalhaes.
The Mountaineers continued to battle for possession of the ball but could not break the Blazers defense.
Elms tacked on two more goals in the second half with an unassisted goal from Serina Percoski and a goal Erica Griffo assisted by Krystyna Gagne.
The Mountaineers are gearing up for another Conference game when they host first place Lesley University (6-2-1 overall and 1-0 in the NECC) at 1:00 p.m. on Everett Field.
