Mullen Named AD3I Top Player for Second Time This Season
Kansas City, MO - Southern Vermont College junior forward Markeisha Mullen (Baltimore, MD/Walbrook) was named the national Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) Women's basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season.
In the AD3I Tournament versus College of St. Elizabeth, she registered a double-double with 28 points and 15 boards. She also added five steals, three assists and one blocked shot. Mullen finished the game 11-for-21 from the field, including 2-of-3 from three-point range. Mullen finishes the season averaging 18.8 points and 12.1 rebounds per game.
