Summer Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, and Running Camps Offered at Southern Vermont College

BENNINGTON, Vt. - Southern Vermont College is offering a series of baseball (boys), basketball (boys), soccer (co-ed), and running (co-ed) camps for multiple age groups, that will be held on campus in August. Directed by Southern Vermont College coaches with NCAA Division III experience, each camp provides instruction on sport fundamentals and skill development. SVC camps are grouped by age and/or ability and feature personalized attention. The camps include team competition, a camp T-shirt, special awards and contests, and closing day ceremonies.

Two Mountaineers baseball camps will take place from Monday, August 3^rd, to Friday, August 7^th, at Bill Epstein Athletic Field with a charge of $95 for each camp. The first camp is geared for boys, ages 7-12 and will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; while the second camp is for ages 13-18 and will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.Please contact baseball Head Coach Don Schaffer for more information at 802-447-4662 or email dschaffer@svc.edu.

Two Mountaineers basketball camps will be held from Monday, August 10^th, to Friday, August 14^th, at the SVC Field House with a charge of $100 for each camp. Camp one, for boys entering grades 7 -9, will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; while the second camp, for grades 10-12 take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please contact basketball Head Coach Michael McDonough for more information at 802-447-4658 or email mmcdonough@svc.edu.

The Mountaineers running camp will be offered from Sunday, August 2^nd, to Friday, August 7^th, at Southern Vermont College's beautiful 371 acre campus with a charge of $380 for a residential camper and $280 for a day only camper. The camp is set up for an 8-12 grade level runner and is an all day camp. Three Mountaineers soccer camps are being offered with the two younger age camps taking place from Monday, August 3^rd, to Friday, August 7^th, at the Everett Field with a charge of $95 per camp. The first camp ranges in age from 5-8 and will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; while the second camp ranges in age from 9-12 and will take place from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The third camp being held is a high school soccer conditioning camp from Monday, August 10^th, to Friday, August 14^th, at Everett Field with a charge of $95 per camp. This camp is specifically for grades 9-12 and will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please note for the soccer camps there is a 12 camper minimum per camp and registration is due by July 24^th.
