Alyssa Davis and Jessica Eldridge Honored By NECC

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Alyssa Davis was named NECC Player of the Week for the second time this season. Jessica Eldridge was named NECC Rookie of the Week for the first time this season.

Davis batted .667 (8-for-12) with eight runs, two RBI, one triple and one home run. Davis hit safely in all four contests while notching four multiple hit games as well. Despite a rough season for the Mountaineers, Davis has been a force behind and at the plate including another perfect fielding week. She slugged 1.083 and had a .714 on-base percentage while snagging 2-for-2 in stolen bases.

Eldridge hit safely in all four games this week including three multiple hit games for the Mountaineers. Despite a 0-4 week, Eldridge batted .500 (7-for-14), slugged .571 while posting a .500 on base percentage. She tallied four runs, three RBI and one double.
