Mangiapane Named to AD3I Second Team

BENNINGTON, Vt. - Southern Vermont College freshman Mariann Mangiapane (Barnet, VT/St. Johnsbury Acad.) was honored for her play during the 2008 softball season by being named to the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) softball second team.

Mangiapane led the squad in eight offensive categories.  She hit .311 for the season with 13 RBIs.  She led the team in hits and doubles and compiled a .492 on-base percentage.
