Aaron Eschler joins the Southern Vermont Men’s Soccer coaching staff after being a three year starter for the Mountaineers. Eschler, a 2011 graduate of Southern Vermont started in goal from the 2008-2010 seasons, and was captain of the 2010 squad. Eschler started in 45 career games compiling a record of 16-26-3. Eschler also set All-Time Records for SVC in single season and career shutouts with five in his final season for a total of nine in his three years. Aaron compiled 358 career saves between the pipes for a SVC career best 1.77 goals against average.

Eschler will serve as the Head Goalkeeping coach for both the Men’s and Women’s teams. He will also be the main assistant on the Men’s side for Head Coach Tim Penrod.

Before coming to SVC Eschler was a coach for the Fulton United Soccer Force U17 team in 2008. He also has experience running camps. He ran the Broadalbin Perth Youth Commission camp for three years and in 2010 ran a camp for Mount Anthony Union Varsity and JV teams.
