ECAC Honors Two Basketball Players
Bennington, VT - Junior Southern Vermont College women's basketball player Markeisha Mullen (Baltimore, MD/Walbrook) and senior men's basketball player Nick Harrington (Brooklyn, NY/Grady) were named East Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player of the Week in their respective sports.
Harrington registered three double-doubles in a 1-2 week, finishing with averages of 27.7 points and 18.7 rebounds. He also shot 68 percent from the field (34-for-50). His biggest game of the week consisted of 34 points and 19 boards. It was the fourth time this season he was honored by the ECAC. Between the Association of Division
Mullen posted a double-double in her lone game of the week - a 67-62 setback to Mitchell College. She accounted for more than half of her team's offensive output with 32 points and her 26 rebounds is the fifth-best, single-game total in Division III this season.
