Home Wreckers: Nighthawks Ruin Men's Hoops Return Home

BENNINGTON, Vt.- For the second time in three days the Southern Vermont and Newbury College men’s basketball teams met up. On Thursday the Mountaineers fell at Newbury, Saturday the Nighthawks repeated the feat with a 69-62 victory at the Mountaineer Athletic Center.
Mountaineers Fall In Third Straight Road Contest

The Southern Vermont College Men’s basketball team dropped its third straight road contest Thursday evening at Newbury College. The two sides met in a pivotal New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) matchup, but the Nighthawks were able to come away with an 83-68 victory over the Mountaineers.
Mountaineers Fall At First Place Becker

Leicester, Mass. -The Southern Vermont College Men's basketball team couldn't overcome a strong Becker College team Tuesday evening as the Mountaineers fell to the league leading Hawks 81-44 in NECC men’s basketball action on Tuesday at the Leicester Gym. With the win, Becker is now 12-4 on the season with a conference-best 7-0 record. Southern Vermont slides to 2-15 with a 2-7 mark in the NECC.
Road Woes Continue For Mountaineers

CHESTNUT HILL, MA – The Southern Vermont College Men’s basketball team continued its road struggles, Saturday afternoon at Wheelock College. The Mountaineers fell 78-59, in a New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) contest this afternoon at Brunelli Court on the campus of Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill, MA.
