Cenicola Nabs NECC Rookie Of The Week For Second Time This Year

OF THE WEEK — For the second time this season, Southern
Vermont freshman guard Derrick Cenicola (Hamilton, N.Y.) grabbed
Rookie Honors from the NECC. He finished with 26 points, four
assists, three rebounds, one block and one steal in a 75-69
conference victory over Mitchell. Cenicola shot 77% (7-for-9) from
the floor, a sizzling 88% (7-for-8) from behind the arc and 83%
(5-for-6) from charity stripe.
