Cenicola Wins Rookie Of The Week (Third Of The Season)
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Southern Vermont freshman guard Derrick Cenicola, of Hamilton, N.Y., helped the Mountaineers to a 1-2 week defeating Newbury 65-63 in NECC action. Cenicola averaged 14.0 points per game, 7.0 rebounds per game, 1.7 assists per game, 0.3 blocks per game and 1.7 steals per game. He shot 32% (12-for-38) from the floor, 38% (10-for-26) from behind the arc and 73% (8-for-11) from the charity stripe.
