Naaktgeboren and Warrington Named NECC Pitcher and Player of the Week

ATTLEBORO, Ma. - Juniors Ben Naaktgeboren and Pat Warrington were recognized by the NECC for their performance this past week. Naaktgeboren earned NECC Pitcher of the Week while Warrington was named Player of the Week.

Naaktgeboren hurled a complete game shutout with a 0.00 ERA in a 9-0 victory over Emerson. Naaktgeboren allowed only three hits, while walking two and striking out nine for the seven innings of work. He also notched a career single game high with the nine strikeouts.

Warrington batted a sizzling .667 (4-for-6), while chipping in two runs and four RBI. Warrington helped his team to a 2-0 sweep of Emerson 5-4 and 9-0 this past week. He hit safely in both games, while going 2-for-2 in stolen bases. He slugged 1.167 and posted a .750 on-base percentage for the week.
