Mountaineers Soar Over Comets, 12-5

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Southern Vermont College baseball team defeated the Olivet College Comets of Olivet, Missouri 12-5 Wednesday, March 10, at Terry Park. Senior Brett Pawlak led the Mountaineers offensively going 4-for-5 tallying one RBI. Freshman pitcher Corey Armstrong of Bennington, Vt. improved to 2-0 and is off to a promising start for SVC.

The win improves Southern Vermont to 2-3 overall, while the Comets fall to 1-3.
