Brett returns to the Mountaineers for his second year with the team after transferring from Post University in Connecticut. Out of Shelton, Connecticut where he played at Ansonia High School, Brett was 2nd on the team in batting last year with a .328 average. He also led the team in runs scored with 22, and was 11 for 12 on stolen base attempts. The Sports Management major also led the team in the field with 96 assists. The son of Renee Pawlak, Brett was named to the AD3I All-American team in 2008, in addition to being the AD3I Player of the Week twice April 7th and 14th.
