Mountaineers fall to Benedictine
Fort Myers, FL-The Southern Vermont College baseball team lost to the Benedictine Eagles, 8-3, in a NCAA Division III non-conference baseball game played in Terry Park.
SVC's runs were scored by freshman second baseman Dave Gage (Gloversvill, NY/Broadalbin), sophomore outfielders Eric Gardner (Thompson, CT/Tourtelette), and Kyle Hoseit (Saco, ME/Thornton Academy). Hoseit and Gardner each had hits, while freshman designated hitter Adam Northup (Richmond, RI/Chariho) tallied a hit and an RBI.
