Carol Ann Murray, class of 1993, played on the women’s soccer team from 1989-1992 and on the softball team from 1990-1993. Murray, inducted in 1998, as a soccer player was a captain, made the Colonial States All-Conference Team, and was Team Player of the Year in both 1991 and 1992. On the diamond she was the 1992 Team Offensive MVP, Co-Captain in 1992, 1993 Team Player of the Year, and Captain in 1993. Murray finished her softball collegiate career with a .462 career batting average.
