  • Has over 22 years of coaching experience for baseball, softball, and basketball ranging in ages of 6-18 years old.
    • Several of his teams in went all the way to state and national tournaments.
  • Co-founded a girls' recreational league and served as the president for over three years.
  • Has over 30 years of experience in the Child Abuse and Maltreatment Register for the State of New York.

Full Bio:

Mike Quinn joined the Southern Vermont College Athletics Department in the summer of 2008 and was recently named the head coach of the women's basketball team for the 2009-2010 season and the Assistant Coach of the softball team for the 2010 season with the recent hiring of Twink Williams as Head Coach of Softball.  

He has over 22 years of coaching experience for baseball, softball, and basketball ranging in ages of 6-18 years old.

Quinn comes from a professional background in Social Services with over 30 years of experience in the Child Abuse and Maltreatment Register for the State of New York.

When coaching baseball and softball he was also on the board of directors. Quinn co-founded a girls' recreational league and served as the president for over three years. Several of his teams in baseball and softball went all the way to state and national tournaments.

The Mountaineer Athletic program is excited to welcome Mike Quinn into the department and look forward to what he will bring to the women's basketball this fall and softball program this coming spring season.

He graduated from the College of Saint Rose with a degree in Sociology and Social Work (double major).
