Men's Soccer Coach Tim Penrod Named New England Collegiate Conference NSCAA Representative

Head Men’s Soccer Coach Tim Penrod has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Men’s and Women’s Soccer Representative to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

“I am very pleased to have this opportunity to work more with such a great organization.  I have been a part of the NSCAA since I came here (in 2007), and I look forward to working closer than ever with them.”

Penrod’s duties will include working with the NSCAA’s College Services Program, soliciting information on priority issues from all NECC men’s and women’s soccer coaches and to serve as a conduit for disseminating and gathering information pertinent to the conference and Division III Soccer on the national level.

“The NSCAA is all about coaches teaching coaches.  Not only with this position help me connect with more coaches in the region, but it will also help me build a network throughout the country.”

Penrod currently holds his NSCAA Regional and National Diplomas.  He will be completing his Level I and II Goalkeeper Diplomas this spring, and his Advanced National Diploma this summer.

The NSCAA is the world’s largest single-sport coaching organization.  Formed in 1941, the association’s mission is to help members excel in their coaching careers by offering numerous education programs as well as a convention to provide networking opportunities for all those involved.  For more information on the NSCAA, please visit www.nscaa.com
