Joel DeFedele Named NECC Pitcher of the Week

BENNINGTON, Vt. - Sophomore Pitcher Joel DeFedele was named NECC Pitcher of the Week.

Right handed pitcher Joel DeFedele tossed 5.2 innings of relief, notching a win for a 0.00 weekly ERA in three appearances. DeFedele allowed only four hits while walking two and striking out four batters for the week. The 9-8 victory over Dakota Wesleyan was his first collegiate win for the second year player.

DeFedele appeared in the losses against Wesleyan and Pitt-Bradford and the win against Dakota Wesleyan. In the victory, DeFedele pitched 1.2 innings of one hit relief.
